"Meeting Anugrah for the first time and sensing his desire to delve deeper, trying to touch the unknowns, may baffle you.

He has been a "rebel" all his life. Born in an atheist family in India, got exposed to yoga, meditation and music at an early age. Even, when very young he decided to create his future in such a way, that he could have almost a complete freedom to do, whatever he wants in life.

He became an engineer and immigrated to America in 1969 at the age of 23 years. He further went to graduate schools for engineering and business and started his own manufacturing company in Texas. Within a short period, he accomplished his financial goal for living a free and independent life

and was ready to explore other dimensions of life. He was then 40 years old, and till now 35 years later, he continues to live a "Zen life" of walking on the path to merge with the "Whole".

He is passionate about meditation, music, dance, yoga, horseback riding, Zen architecture, building things with his hands and creating unique businesses.

His interest in music has led him composing and producing two devotional chanting CD's; Gratitude Joy I and Gratitude Joy II, with Paul Avgerinos, a Grammy award winner.

Anugrah is quite impressive when relating with people in the outer world. His ability to transform himself into a mirror for someone is amazing. A soft and compassionate soul, he is ever ready to share what he has whenever he finds receptive fellow traveler(s).

When asked who have influenced and inspired him the most, he named his father, Gurdjieff, Osho, Patanjali and LaoTzu.

He loves to do active experiential group sessions involving, body, mind and intense breathing; resulting into a total let go. In this "let go", meditation happens on its own accord – a magical experience indeed.
